Our Vision

The Alabama 4-H Youth Development Center, located on 264 idyllic acres along the shores of Lay Lake in central Alabama, will be the preeminent youth leadership development and environmental education facility in the Southeast. It will be nationally recognized as having an impact on tomorrow through its work today with young people and its focus on leadership development and environmental education for both youth and adult audiences.

The Alabama 4-H Youth Development Center is owned by the Alabama 4-H Club Foundation, Inc., which, in cooperation with the Alabama Cooperative Extension System, oversees the management and day-to-day operations of the Center. More…
