Our Mission

The Alabama 4-H Youth Development Center is the centerpiece of the Alabama Cooperative Extension System youth leadership and environmental education programs. It provides a wide variety of "hands-on, minds-on" educational experiences for youth, teachers, and other adults, helping them become more effective citizens, leaders, teachers, and natural resource stewards. The Center is an integral part of the network of other groups and organizations addressing youth development and environmental education.
